The Owners of PZ Countertops + Customs

Paul Shook + Zack Goins bring together years of experience with countertop installation and home renovations. They crossed paths working for a prominent granite installation company in 2016. Since then, their experience has gone on to include extensive home renovation work as well as millwork and construction.

Paul Shook

Paul was raised in Gwinnett County and graduated from Collins Hill High School. After High School, Paul went on to study drafting + design at a local college. His career began as a project manager with an office furniture company in 2010. In his free time he would remodel his home and the homes of his family members. In 2014, Paul began work in Carpentry and worked on custom furniture builds during his days off from work. In 2016, Paul began his career in stone and he knew he had finally found his passion. Within 3 months at his new position promoted and became the lead installation supervisor for one of the largest stone fabricators in the US. Throughout his career, Paul has also managed and supervised construction sites. During his time off Paul enjoys working on home renovation projects, golfing and spending time with his wife and three young daughters.

Zack Goins

Zack was born and raised in Forsyth County, Georgia and graduated from South Forsyth High School. After High School, he went on to study Public Relations at Valdosta State University. Zacks career in the countertop business began in 2009. He began as a fabricator for stone and worked his way up to installs and measuring and eventually head of the Commercial Field Department for one of the largest stone fabricators in the US. Throughout his many years of experience, he has also picked up on all aspects of construction including custom millwork. When Zack isn’t working you can find him spending time with his wife and two young sons, doing home renovation projects and anything creative he can get his hands on!
